ABOUT US
Jumpstart Outdoors LLP is a Mumbai based company which aims at offering new experiences in the great outdoors. Our focus is to create a safer environment for all citizens. In this direction, we have developed an experienced team of trainers and trusted collaborators.
The various programmes designed and executed by Jumpstart could be broadly categorised under four heads; viz. Recreational, Educational, Developmental and Therapeutic. Jumpstart’s ideology is based on the proverb “Tell me and I might forget; Show me and I might remember but involve me and I will understand.” Jumpstart uses this philosophy to enhance the outcomes of the programmes that it delivers.

Founder, Director, Facilitator
DHIREN TALPADE
He is a High & Low Ropes Course Instructor and Rescuer, trained by the European Ropes Course Association. He holds a WFR Certification (Wilderness First Responder) from Aerie Backcountry Medicine as well as from WMI of NOLS. He has over twenty years of experience with outdoor adventure setups and instruction
He has been teaching Remote First Aid and Life Saving skills under the Jumpstart Outdoors banner since 2009. In 2018 he joined the Hanifl Centre for Outdoor Education & Environmental Study in Mussoorie as an instructor for Wilderness First Aid courses. He helps organise, coordinate and teach Life Saving Skills and Austere medicine programmes which are run in association with Aerie Backcountry Medicine, Missoula, Montana, USA.
